The whole series is very relevant but this one is my favorite. Yes, all there is at our level is light and it is a marvel.

Fortunately, there are the spell breakers, the Shamans of our time.

"The group sings a regional folk style called minyo and the gender bending look has to do with shamans not glamour. As singer Hee-moon Lee describes it, "In Korean traditional art, male shamans, called baksu, have the body of a male. But as mediums, they need more than a single sexual identity, because they're channeling both male and female spirits. When I act a female character and sing, I have to overcome the fact of my being a male sorikkun (singer), and try my utmost to bring a more neutral, unisex feeling to the performance. It sounds silly, but I feel like going back to the sensibilities of my youth, when I liked Madonna, helps."

The singer, Lee Hee Moon is a master in traditional classical Korean singing, I mean he is a real recognized master in South Korea. He sometimes appear like a man when singing classical stuff. He has also delved into singing with jazz, classical European music and more.

This video was shot during the coup d'état attempt few months ago. Lot's of energy, humor and amazing talent and a Kimchi inspired dress:

Salut,

À propos Light (photonic or not), I guess you know that most interesting philosopher that helped me conjure the madness of our civilization in my 20's:

One of the most disturbing personalities I've encountered in the last decade was my short lived VA clinical psychologist. She was the head shrink at the local clinic and was completely nuts by my estimation. A human computer. Listening to her standard greeting chirp of "Top O' the morning to ya." could induce chills. Our mean streaks didn't match and when I discreetly asked to see someone else, I got a phone call from the woman wanting to know what the problem was. The conversation didn't end politely. No freaking way.

Yes, better to avoid the shrinks altogether. Most of them are not even qualified. From the beginnings of the academic discipline of 'Psychology', as far as I am aware, the academies tried to water down the true goal of psychologists (self-diagnosis) by ordering that the first two years of psychology studies should be devoted to statistics. Statistics is a sub-area of mathematics. The hope was that this 'entry barrier' would discourage the bad people and prevent blabbermouths and mentally ill candidate from sneaking into academic psychology. It worked in Europe, mostly. During the 80s and 90s, psychology became a respectable "science" (even though it wasn't). The future "psychologists" now had to be at least mathematically gifted and have good academic credentials. Unfortunately, the science part and the statistics component were practically eliminated in the 2000s, and now practically anyone can study psychology again, even if they struggle with mathematics. The main thing in a modern university seems to be that "everyone can study anything" and that "everyone gets through the studies" and can quickly see patients. Best! T

Yes Dr. P. Showing up validates their "authority" which as you state is shored up by flimsy academics. Give them enough time and they'll find any number of diagnoses for you to keep the charade going. A person can run the risk of losing complete autonomy over their life, swallowing meds forever in response to some bad moods and never see another clear day. I'm not saying that severe mental health problems don't exist, it's just that these people amplify mental illness beyond all proportion to the point where normal people question their sanity.

Most people have absolutely no general education, opinion, horizon... that's the problem. Most academic professionals like psychologists, journalists, and lawyers are certified manipulators. If they are not properly trained or have a Machiavellian personality, abuse is ripe, and catastrophe is guaranteed. Film, book, and tv series warn us about the psychiatric profession. Do not go into psychiatric care because you will never leave. One Flew over the Coocoo nest. Shutter Island. 12 Monkeys. Girl, Interrupted. Patch Adams. But the general public is oblivious to red flags and warning signs. But worst of all are the psychiatric drugs, mood changers, and sleeping pills. Do not take them, folks. End of days.

Psychology is both cosmic horror and tragically sick people and their fantastic minds. Freud was a fraud. Jung was a charlatan but way cooler. He came in second because Freud was a Jew and Jung was not. Skinner was just experimenting with animals, but they said he was a psychologist. And Anthony made the rat THINK it smelled cheese...

Jung was the boss charlatan, yes. But people love him, frankly. He was wise to break up with Freud and the other Jews. In the future, Jung might surpass Freud in history of thought. Best! T
