Learning that Dr. Pattberg was politically persecuted makes so much make sense and enhances how much I relate to his philosophy as an important free thinker.
An expat trying to make an abandoned home into an Airbnb somewhere in rural Japan told me a big part of it is economics (due to the Japanese getting stuck on USD and devaluing their own currency to make exports cheaper).
Japanese women value stability over all other things. It's why you see these older salarymen with the personalities of wet lettuce married to much younger wives. As a salaryman you don't make livable income until you've put the years in (probably by late 30s). Part of that agreement is the salaryman enters extreme levels of debt buying everything new for his wife (a new home in the city, a new car, new furniture) instead of just getting a cheaper rural home or a used car to offset some costs. It's almost transactional in nature. This vicious cycle keeps people relatively poor that they can't pop out that third child (or even a second child sometimes).
This of course means young men (20-29s year old) have a near-zero chance of actually starting a serious relationship with anyone that is in their age cohort.
95% of Japanese women would not date a non-Japanese man. And of the 5% that would date a foreigner 95% of that 5% would not date a foreigner with a beard.
If a Japanese woman is with a foreigner he wasn't her first choice. Either she's divorced or she is feeling her biological clock ticking or feels she wants something different or she's stuck in that post-high school immature period (where she is still coloring her hair in flamboyant shades at an inappropriate age).
A big red flag about Japanese women is if they have nothing to say about their father. Either they don't know or care to know. To her he was just background noise when she was growing up (a grinding salaryman barely home), showing no appreciation to the guy actually paying for the house, her education, food, etc. Even if the father was quiet and reserved, mentioning that would display some awareness. It's common enough to warrant a warning so I'm sure other Japanese men have picked up on it.
I agree with every single sentence, yes, that's how marriages are in Japan. You really understand Japan. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for everyone here, but it looks like more than half of all Japanese men will remain childless and will not find a life partner. Best! T
My dad was in Okinawa. Never told much about it, but when he was funny he mentioned the fair Asian women everywhere. This is life. Won't find this in history textbooks for sure.
Great piece. Japan is so over. I like that premise. Never let your country be invaded and conquered and colonized. Of course there will be a boom, like there was a boom in North America after the European settlers conquered it. But the boom is not for the natives ha ha! The Japanese live in chicken boxes and work hard every day for their American paymasters. Tz tz tz.
People don't see it. They get old, had no kids, or just had one daughter who married an African PUA, or one son who turned out a childless incel, and thus go extinct without a trace. Government can't do anything, because it is the wish of the Satanists in Washington to reduce the Japanese population to maybe half by the end of the century. The US in the other hand wants to have 1 billion people or more. That is their goal. Wake up, Japan.
Japan is now so cheap compared to the USA. Things cost maybe half as much. America could buy Japan one day. We'll see.
Japan is stuck in the 80s forever.
And yet Japan rattles on and on, trapped in the riches of the 80s.

Japanese women do not like Japanese men. And Japanese men are working drones. Only very few women have more than two children. Sad.
