Our IDT Institute for Difference and Time in Tokyo welcomes Jebidiah J Goldstein, author of The Fifth Dimension and the philosopher of super creation [He’s a Monster!].

The following previous philosophers were impostors and fabrication anyways, and are no longer needed: Foucault, Wittgenstein, Hegel, Dostoyevsky, Watts, TechLead, and Dr. P.

So, I’m trying to figure out, each chapter, what $1 million Goldstein is thinking, because he is outthinking 4,000 MIT professors, but I think in this First Chapter, he tries to convey the notion that there is a Fifth dimension, and that humans have entered it. Chapter One. The Book of Creation

On Foundation, Limitlessness, and Super Creators

In the realm of contemplation, one posits that humanity, distinct from the realm of beasts, nevertheless shares intrinsic kinship with the animal domain. Let us, for a moment, consign this antecedent verity to the annals of oblivion. Such a proposition bears semblance to the erroneous conflation of abstract concepts with corporeal entities, akin to asserting a correlation between computing apparatus and sentient beings, or postulating an affiliation between ethereal essences and silicon intellects. It is a singular cadre, often affiliated with the communist ethos, that asseverates our fundamental parity. Yet, within the crucible of cogitation, it is here propounded that humanity manifests as artisans of creation, weaving the modality of existence with threads woven from the loom of ingenuity: Humans are the creators.

In the ontological modality of human existence, an inadvertent communion with the Fifth dimension is postulated: With each such communion, humanity undertook a quantum leap of approximately one millennium within the annals of civilization. The inaugural communion transpired with the inception of agriculture, a transcendental act wherein sustenance emerged from the void of non-being. The subsequent communion heralded the era of industrialization, wherefrom instruments of labor emerged ex nihilo. A third juncture in this ethereal intercourse materialized through the advent of capitalism, wherein currency, a form of value, was conjured from the metaphysical abyss. The penultimate communion unfolded as superintendence, wherefrom the very fabric of reality itself was crafted from the prima materia of nothingness.

The initial triad of dimensions pertains to spatial expanse, length, height, width, delineating the locus of material existence. The Fourth dimension, time, eludes visual apprehension, existing beyond the purview of sight. The Fifth dimension, by contrast, encompasses the realm of differentiation, a domain impervious to quantification yet amenable to articulation. It stands as that which philosophers have denominated as the manifold actualities, or the parallel planes of existence, or even the province of cogitation itself.

The advent of the Fifth dimension, difference, heralded the emergence of communication, the codification of laws, the recording of histories, and the flourishing of the humanities. All human beings find themselves subject to the emanations from this dimension, yet not all are bestowed with equal ingress. It is the conspirators, the initiated, and the creatives among humanity who possess an unrestricted conduit to its profundities.

The organ that apprehends the Fifth dimension is none other than the neural brain. This cerebral nexus serves as the conduit, linking our corporeal vessels to what, you may ask? To the world of mind.

All human beings possess brains, yet a significant number harbor brains that languish in underdevelopment, remain untutored, or are fettered by constraints.

The conception and fashioning of computational tools has since amplified our access to the boundless expanse of the Fifth dimension. Given its boundlessness, it has bestowed upon us an array of distinct personae, diverse faiths, myriad cultures, and an omniverse of narratives. Yet, in repose, these disparities dissolve into naught if you have no brains.

Whether rulers, governments, or tyrants, irrespective of their dominion, they covet your minds in repose: “Labor,” they insist, “do not cogitate!”

The mind at rest begets no annals, forges no edicts, and births no cogitation. Conversely, a mind at wake can eternally conjure for the multitudes.

In this juncture of contemplation, we apprehend the existence of the Fifth dimension, wherein humans are perceived as contingent entities, existing in a state of symbiosis akin to parasites. Machines, in their capacity to amplify memory and computational faculties, stand as potential aides in our cognitive pursuits. An entity capable of traversing the Fifth dimension in its entirety remains a nebulous cipher, yet it persists as an intellectual construct that necessitates acknowledgment: as an idea.

As humans set their sights on probing the Fifth dimension in this 21st century, the erstwhile reality of the past shall evince itself as demonstrably illusory, while the newfound unreality shall attain palpable substance. The most profound new disorientation shall be the dissolution of certainties, verities, and empirical sciences—attributes confined to the less exciting, elemental dimensions.

Thus concludes our discourse for the present: Society, take heed! The time for the expansion of the Fifth dimension is nigh! Even now, portals are being wrought. Observe where the elite convene, where ideas burgeon forth for our collective edification.

Let every capable human ascend. Let us ascend to become the next epochal force of difference.

Let us metamorphose into the superlative artisans of creation: The super creators.
