Are they really that high-IQ or are they just little people with big ambitions?

Japanese schools often resemble correctional facilities—or even prisons. The pressure on students is still extreme, though not as severe as in Korea or China, but it remains inhumane. This militaristic approach to schooling produces highly effective workers, clerks, and studious conformists, but it has little to do with intelligence. True intelligence is simply the measurable cognitive performance (speed, range, depth) of an individual's brain compared to their peers. Intelligent people would thrive in any situation, ideally without militarized schooling.

That’s why the intellectual gifted in Japan often attend special schools with no pressure, no uniforms, and no meaningless tests—the same pattern exists worldwide. Highly gifted individuals are typically separated from the mainstream school system early on. For example, students at Todai, Waseda, Keio, or Tsukuba prep schools advance directly into top universities without worrying about too much about grades, much like those at Eton or Fettes College in the UK. These students experience no mass education stress, enjoy full freedom, and have every opportunity available to them. Their schools certainly don’t look like the Alcatraz prison complex.

The Japanese are very smart people, but lack the assertiveness of the Americans. History had cut them short, no pun intended.

Yes, yes, the whole Japan series came out, including the IQ-horror, Guns and Kishida, the deformed X-Kyaku underclass, and the path to Japanese childlessness. I cannot believe the Japanese fell for the Covid monster. I am still living in the nightmare sort of, because where I live in a suburb of Tokyo the local residents are still wearing their retard masks and keep the brave distance. Oh and ya, they dress their pet dogs like human children, haha. T

What Dr. Pattberg writes is true. In Japan, the Jukus are the key to college admission and academic success. State schools do not prepare for entrance exams to top high schools and universities. The system is broken. At least for those who don't have money for private schools.
